In the week from October 12th to 17th  took place in Indianapolis (Indiana) the largest conference celebrated across the United States about economic development: the International Economic Development Council’s (IEDC) Annual Conference.

Throughout the whole event, we could enjoy enriching presentations given by distinguished speakers, interactive sessions, networking events and educational tours. We could find a wide range of conferences to attend from which we took inspiration and learned about cutting-edge policies, technics and practices from all over the world. All of them were focused on useful topics that sought to develop different business at the regional level. As a part of these conferences, we could discover different matters of interest like proposals, tenders new business opportunities.

In the big hall where the networking breaks were celebrated, there was a large number of stands where anyone who wanted to attract more attention could be present. Being in this location allowed stand representatives to have highest visibility possible due to the big amount of participants passing through.

The chance of connecting with agents, investors and stakeholders all around the globe is, for sure, one of the strongest points of IEDC’s Conference. Through a networking friendly environment, there’s the possibility of expanding a business, internationalise companies and keep in contact with the most state-of-the-art technologies.

Because of the success and the great opportunity it represents, this conference is organised annually. Next edition will be placed in Dallas and the event will be for sure one of those not to be missed. Once again, we would be able to listen eminent speakers, be at great networking sessions and participate in a huge number of activities with the fundamental objective of enhancing regional development.

It is part of EURADA’s philosophy and European personality to believe in the union and cooperation. That’s the reason why next year we will send a delegation to Dallas once again, in order to strengthen the relations between Europeans and American regions. The winning in terms of diversity, knowledge sharing and good practices exchange is immeasurable. Our mission is to boost the internationalisation and to consolidate the competitiveness of our regions and companies, both domestically and internationally. Attending a high-level intercontinental event is crucial to accomplish that mission.
