The 19th edition of the International Chemistry Show “Expoquimia” will take place in Barcelona (Spain) from the 1st to the 4th December 2020. The event is aimed at promoting researchers in the field of chemistry and biotechnology who are working on questions that could be used for the Industry. This is as well a unique environment to boost the gathering of stakeholders, companies and researches in order to generate new business opportunities. The participants will have the chance to join the partnering system, where they can offer their biotech solutions to promote sustainability and innovation. Also, they will be able to participate in the exhibition area, where the stands will act as a showcase of best practices, cutting-edge technologies and most valuable companies in the sector. Attendants will be for sure able to take part in seminars to learn about the latest developments.
During the event the Awards of the organisation for the R&D&I in Chemistry (6th edition) and in Biotechnology (5th edition) will be given. The prizes will reward, for the former category, the development of new materials, the most innovative processes, the best facility designs, and the most sustainable products and chemical technologies; while for the latter category, those discoveries regarding materials, raw materials for pharmaceuticals and food, biopolymers, waste treatments, and environmental use.
