EURADA is pleased to invite you to the second CircSyst replication workshop and study visit, taking place on 21 May 2026 in Budapest and Leányvár (Hungary).
CircSyst is a Horizon Europe project supporting the transition towards a circular economy by developing and demonstrating Circular Systemic Solutions (CSS) across key value chains identified by the European Commission in the Circular Economy Action Plan: water management, biowaste, plastics and packaging. With nine pilot projects across Europe, CircSyst is showcasing holistic circular models that can serve as blueprints for replication at local and regional levels.
To support the transferability of these solutions, EURADA is organising a series of replication workshops and learning study visits to CircSyst demonstrator sites. Following the success of the first replication workshop held in November 2025 in Lahti (Finland), focusing on biowaste solutions, this second instalment will address plastics and packaging CSS, bringing together project partners, stakeholders, and members of the CircSyst Community of Practice to explore how innovative approaches can be replicated and adapted across regions.
On this occasion, participants will gain insights into:
- Eco-design strategies to reduce packaging waste;
- Collection and segregation systems for improved material recovery;
- Recycling and valorisation of complex plastic materials;
- Key barriers, enablers, and success factors for replication.
The event is co-organised by EURADA and the Hungarian Economic Development Agency (MGFÜ), in collaboration with Ugrinpack, whose facilities will be visited as part of the programme.
The workshop will be held in hybrid format, while the study visit is reserved for in-person participants. In-person attendance is therefore strongly encouraged for those wishing to benefit from the full learning and interactive experience.
