EURADA will host a meeting of the EURADA Working Group (WG) on Digitalisation on Wednesday the 29 April 2026, at 10:30 CEST. The first meeting of 2026 will take place on-line and will discuss the following: ‘’Artificial Intelligence in Public Administration: Advantages, Opportunities and Challenges”.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming public administration and regional governance, offering European regions new ways to boost competitiveness, service delivery, and address complex policy challenges. However, this shift also introduces risks that demand careful governance. Through the Digitalisation Working Group, EURADA aims to foster continued dialogue and cooperation to promote a responsible, balanced approach to AI, strengthening public institutions and advancing sustainable, inclusive regional development.
The meeting will feature insights from both EURADA members and experts during two sessions:
- Session 1: Best case-studies from EURADA members (Scottish Enterprise & ADRAL).
- Session 2: Leveraging AI for Regional Impact (with a first intervention on ‘’AI in Interreg Project Work: From Proposal Writing to Programme Management’’, and a second on ‘’A strategic and methodological approach from South Moravia (Czech Republic)’’).
