In this workshop, two EU projects – BOWI and Tetramax - will present their respective approach to support uptake of digital technologies across Europe and forge sustainable collaborations.Both projects aim to boost innovation, supporting SME experiments and building EU collaborations. Participants will learn more about the approach of both projects in supporting SMEs, how regions can be involved and hear from SMEs about their experience, view and needs.
TETRAMAX is an innovation HUB, helping the European industry and SMEs to gain competitive advantage through access to customized and low-energy computing for Cyber Physical Systems and the Internet of Things. TETRAMAX aims to bring added value to European industry, helping to gain competitive advantage through faster digitization. Moreover, in the long term, TETRAMAX will be the trailblazer towards a reinforced, profitable, and sustainable ecosystem, providing custom computing competence, services and a continuous innovation stream at European scale, yet with strong regional presence as preferred by SMEs.
BOWI stands for Boosting Widening Digital Innovation Hubs. BOWI aims to build a digital innovation hub (DIH) network based on experience and practice sharing. A network that will support companies in turning their most innovative projects to life, aid investors in discovering the leaders of digital revolution and help development agencies understand the needs of industry. BOWI community consists of digital innovation hubs from regions with different technology adaptation levels, SMEs and mid-caps, development agencies and investors, both private and agencies, that all are thinking about the economy of tomorrow.
