EURADA Summer School is back!

Article written by Marta Serrano – External Consultant for training programmes

In the last few years both the pandemic and the recent EURADA’s Secretariat reorganising process have prevented us from meeting together for the most important appointment of the year devoted to staff training. This year in Brussels, from July 4th to 6th, we’ll be together again after a long time.

We will use a comprehensive approach to organizational improvement that focuses on the three key areas of people, process, and product. By taking a holistic view of these three areas, organizations can identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategies to maximize their performance.

What is our “product”? All about ensuring we have something that’ll turn our region a profit. We will consider our unique "selling" proposition as a region that’ll make it stand out from other regions in Europe. Industry, products, services, culture, nature, quality, a holistic way of living...

As a matter of fact we need also to create systems for making our region and business more and more worldwide-oriented, attractive and competitive. We’ll talk together about. Vision, policies, strategies, procedures, services...  All of them shall be part of and coherent with a well defined regional strategic plan.

Thus we will analyse some of our main assets and values and learn how to make our stakeholders confident with the success of interregional and international cooperation programmes. Strategies that will lead us to position ourselves at the top range of European regions.

Finally, we will observe new models to support our stakeholder organisations to recruit, hire and retain good people from diverse backgrounds to reach their goals. To offer people opportunities to learn new skills and advance their careers. To create a positive work environment that encourages people staying and investing in our region. To insist on accountability and monitor individual and teams performance. And not least… let’s think about the huge potential of migrants and women in charge.

Save the date in your agenda and contact EURADA’s Secretariat for further details and registration conditions.
