CLIMAAX Webstival – Navigating towards more Climate Resilient Regions

The CLIMAAX webstival is an informative journey to delve into interesting keynote presentations, dynamic roundtable discussions, and first-hand insights from the CLIMAAX pilot regions.

As project partners, we are delighted to share the CLIMAAX informative journey during the upcoming CLIMAAX Webstival. The webstival is scheduled for 31 January 2024 and it will offer the possibility to delve into interesting keynote presentations, dynamic roundtable discussions, and first-hand insights from the CLIMAAX pilot regions.

Due to popular demand, after the CLIMAAX webstival, there will be an Open Call Consultation to answer the questions regarding the first CLIMAAX Open Call. This first Open Call is addressed to public bodies and non-profit organisations to mark a valuable starting point for climate resilience. You can ask any questions that come to your mind about the CLIMAAX Open Call during this session.

The Open Call offers selected applicants the prospect of receiving up to €300,000 in funding, which could prove transformative in your mission to enhance regional climate response and emergency risk management plans. Additionally, CLIMAAX is committed to providing practical support to assist you in implementing the methodological framework and utilising the supporting Toolbox for conducting multi-risk climate assessments.

CLIMAAX’s overall mission is to provide general support to European regions and communities to better understand, prepare for and manage climate risks and opportunities, by providing local and regional administrative units access to climate risk profiles,  enhanced early warning systems,  and guidance for the development of comprehensive risk management plans.

Explore how CLIMAAX addresses the challenges posed by climate change, evaluates applications to the open call, and shares invaluable lessons for more climate-resilient regions.
