Since 2015, when he was appointed Executive Director of Aderly, the first economic development agency to be created in France in 1974 with the mission of supporting investments in the Lyon region, Jean Charles Foddis worked with dedication to promote Aderly’s values.
With a rich career developed particularly in the biotechnology and cosmetics sectors and with his familiarity with different business models, most notably start-ups, innovative SMEs, and branches of international industrial groups, Mr Foddis was the driving force behind the internationalisation of Aderly. Thanks to his international vision and resourcefulness, he fostered the attraction of foreign companies to the Lyon region from the United States, Japan, and China. This contributed greatly to the economic development of the Metropolis of Lyon, as well as to the strengthening of the economic network of the region.
EURADA embraced with enthusiasm his understanding of the need to go international, collaborating with Aderly to that end. We will continue to do so in the future.
Mr Foddis leaves behind a great legacy that will continue to benefit the region of Lyon and its inhabitants for many years to come. For that we are extremely grateful.
