Saddle Point Science Europe provides advanced inference and predictive analysis of complex medical data. They collaborate with both public and private sector research teams. In contrast to most AI approaches, their methods and algorithms are transparent, interpretable, and based on advanced mathematical techniques.  His founder Coolen worked for many years a professor of Applied Mathematics at King’s College London, where he founded Saddle Point Science Ltd. In 2020, he decided to move back to the Netherlands with his company, what suppose an important and excellent impact for the competitiveness of the healthcare system of the region.

Oost NL has been instrumental in smoothening our transition from the UK to the Netherlands, by helping us understand and navigate the local landscape and link up with relevant public and private sector partners. Especially since our arrival in Nijmegen coincided with the start of the covid pandemic, this made a big difference,” Coolen Says.
