Renewal of the Digitalisation Working Group

When: 11 March

Where: Online

Are you ready to start your new journey toward digital transition and deepen your expertise in Industry 4.0? Well, do not miss this great opportunity to join the Digitalisation Working Group (WG). This WG has been established to gather expertise on the topics of Digital Innovation Hubs and Industry 4.0, following the path of the original WG on Industry 4.0 established in 2016.

Participation is open to your development agency or any of your regional stakeholders that you wish to internationalise. By taking part, you will become part of a community of professionals that will:

  1. Facilitate the exchange of practices and knowledge in the field of digitalisation and industry 4.0, focusing particularly on Digital Innovation Hubs;
  2. Lead new ideas and cooperate at European level to develop new projects focused on the implementation of digital transformation for the non-tech industry and SMEs;
  3. Disseminate best practices in initiatives related to the topic of digitalisation, industry 4.0, and Digital Innovation Hubs;
  4. Engage partners and followers to work on common initiatives and projects; and
  5. Increase the support provided for Digital Innovation Hubs, non-tech industry, and SMEs in their attempts to consolidate and manage their digital transition, respectively.

The Working Group meetings will take place four times per year; three of them will be held virtually and one face-to-face. The first meeting is planned for the 11th of March and will be held online. Please register in the following link. The second meeting will be linked to Agorada2021 (May 27th 2021). The face-to-face meeting will be one of the subsequent ones and will take place as soon as the Covid-19  situation allows for it more safely. These meetings will aim to share experiences, good practices, and having the opportunity to listen and converse with experts on the matter.

The Working Group will be accompanied by a “Digitalisation Newsletter”, which will be published four times a year, usually following the Working Group meetings. The first issue is planned to be sent out during the month of April and the subsequent one in June. The topics addressed will include calls for proposals, good practices, news about the Working Group and its activities, a compilation of interesting articles, and the last updates about relevant Digitalisation projects, as well as a number of events that will take place in the near future.

We highly encourage you to be a part of this interesting forum in order to learn much more about this field. Should you have any question about this initiative, please contact our colleague Julia COLOMER
