The 2021 Business Impulse Awards winners have been announced by The Economic Development Institute of the Principality of Asturias (IDEPA) on October 8. This award, aiming at recognizing the best practices of companies in the region, has selected three winners in different categories for their respective accomplishment.
This edition highlights the innovative work of Excade , the international spirit of Astilleros Gondán and the growth and commitment to the Principality of PMG Asturias Powder Metal. The success for the three winners could be described, from the view of the Minister of Industry, Employment and Economic Promotion, Enrique Fernández, as "the three companies that represent the best of Asturias: Asturias that works, the one that innovates and has leadership capacity and the that opens new markets while maintaining a strong roots in the territory”.
Excade is awarded for its success for the development for a R-D-I policy in a traditional activity such as construction. Astilleros Gondán won the Internationalization Award because of its superior technological level that allows it to compete and lead in the competitive international market.
The Innovation Award has been awarded to Excade for the development of a key R & D & I policy in a traditional activity such as construction and specifically in earthworks, trying to generate a paradigm shift in its cultural sector as technological. The Business Growth Award belongs to PMG Asturias Powder Metal for its constant growth and consolidation over the years, which made possible the development of industrial activity with high added value.
