The EURADA Secretariat welcomed last Friday 23 February a delegation of regional stakeholders from the Béni Mellal-Khenifra region with the purpose of discussing the role of RDAs in decentralisation processes and future opportunities for collaboration.

Last Friday, 23 February, the EURADA secretariat welcomed a Moroccan Delegation from the Béni Mellal-Khenifra region. The delegation, accompanied by our member IGRETEC, had spent the week carrying out study visits in Charleroi to benchmark and share knowledge and practices in the field of regional governance and decentralisation, project management and touristic engineering.

With that in mind, colleagues Jerome Friedrichs and María Midón supported by director Roberta Dall’Olio, prepared a presentation that introduced EURADA and their international cooperation projects, followed by a discussion on the role of RDAs in the process of decentralisation. The delegation was formed by regional administrative staff and members of regional stakeholders of the Béni Mellal-Khenifra region in Morocco, and they shared an interest in future collaboration with EURADA and its members, either through EU-funded projects or through further knowledge sharing.
