Article written by Carmela Navarro Medina – Projects and Proposals Intern

At the outset of November, FRONTSH1P had the opportunity to spotlight its main objectives and actions developed within the project. This visibility coincided with events held between the 8th and 9th of November.

On one front, the Circular Cities and Regions Initiative (CCRI) orchestrated its first General Conference on the 8th followed by its second CCRI Cooperation and Support Workshop on the 9th. Representing FRONTSH1P at these events, Fabio Magrassi from project partner STAM s.r.l took the stage over the two days. He delved into discussions about the four Circular Systemic Solutions (CSS) that form the backbone of the project, highlighting the pivotal role that cities play in driving a green and sustainable transition.

At the same time, but in a different European Country, FRONTSH1P actively participated in the ECOMONDO Fair held in Rimini, Italy. Across multiple days, the project had a notable presence. On the 7th of November, Proplast, a consortium partner represented by Maria Teresa Scrivani, highlighted the role of the four Circular Systemic Solution (CSS) addressing the plastic-related challenges of CSS4. On the 8th, Furio De Vecchis from STAM s.r.l discussed the innovative approach pursued by FRONTSH1P, sparking engaging conversations. Finally, on the 9th, Giacomo Frisanco from EURADA represented FRONTSH1P at the LOOP cluster's stand, alongside sister projects Agro2Circular, CIRCULAR FOAM, and EcoeFISHent.

In conclusion, November marked a pivotal moment for FRONTSH1P as it took centre stage, showcasing its core objectives and initiatives during key events. FRONTSH1P's active engagement exemplifies its dedication to driving impactful discussions and collaborative efforts in the dynamic landscape of circularity and sustainable development.
