EURADA BROKERAGE EVENT 2023

Wednesday 29 March 2023 EURADA is organising the 8th edition of EURADA’s Brokerage Event. It will be a unique opportunity to get more insight as to how European funding opportunities work through EU programmes such as Horizon Europe and Interreg Europe.

This one-day hybrid event aims to gather experts in the field of regional development, innovation, smart specialisation strategies and more, to share best practices, find new partners for ongoing or future European project proposals and learn from each other.

This year’s event consists of four sessions dedicated to funding opportunities: Interreg Europe, Erasmus+, Horizon Europe and the I3 Instrument. Speakers from the European Commission and the Interreg Europe Joint Secretariat will present current and future initiatives and funding opportunities in support of research, innovation, as well as policy development and implementation.

Here you can find the concept note about EURADA Brokerage Event 2023

Moreover, you will have the possibility to pitch and present both your own Regional Development Agency (RDA) and the call to which you are interested in applying to.

The deadline for pitches is Tuesday 14 March. Please note that we will not accept any pitches received after 14 March. The registration for participants remains open until 28 March.

If you are interested in the pitching session, you can either present a successful project from the past, a project idea for an upcoming call or yourself/the organisation you represent. These options will be given to you during the registration process. Please note that pitch applications will be evaluated. You will receive an email confirmation about your participation in the pitching session by 17 March 2023 at the latest.

To facilitate networking, we will share the short profiles of all registered participants prior to the event. Thanks to the shared public catalogue of participants and profiles, all attendees will have the chance to arrange bilateral meetings to create consortiums for potential projects, and forge links for future partnerships.

Given the success of past editions (click here if you would like to read more about the last edition), we foresee participation from at least 20 Regional Development Agencies in presence at our premises in Brussels, while the remaining 50 are foreseen to connect online. We aspire to make this event as one of the most enriching and fruitful opportunities for European development agencies in 2023. We hope that through this event, experts in the innovation field will generate synergies that hopefully, will be translated into new partnerships for ongoing or future proposals.
